
Hi everyone! Giving roleplaying Samus another whirl in another Multi-fandom roleplaying group (I would make another account, but I like this url haha) so same thing applies as last time:

“….I….I see. Samus-san….”. Rena blinked a few times, but kept mum about what she was thinking. The name Samus was actually quite weird for the redhead, even if it sounded quite foreign; she had not heard of any name sounding like Samus before. She thought about asking more, but decided that it would be too rude to criticize someone’s name just like that.
As Samus repeated the place Rena was talking to her about, the latter tilted her head to one side; a bit confused on why Samus said the word Japan in quite a surprised way. Did she not know where and what Japan is?
…….No. It would seem that the reason is because Samus knew of a different Japan than the Japan Rena originally knew. Her eyes went wide in surprise upon hearing what Samus said next. “….different verses…?”. She put up a closed fist to her chick, her eyes drifting over lazily to a group of strange looking trees. “….hmm…that is a possibility”.
The redhead thought of Hinamizawa, and the never-ending cycle Rika told her before Takano Miyo’s demise. As far as she knew, Rika had also told them about different verses, as well as the possibility of multi-planar dimensions existing in one world. It was a bit confusing to understand, but now that Rena gave it much thought; it actually made sense. It would explain the fact that she sometimes remembers of herself in a somewhat completely different world.”…..a friend of mine told me of that possibility in my world before. Perhaps…..you and I come from a separate dimension from that of our original selves even”.
“….o-oh…..so we’re in the same boat…”. Rena put up a finger to her chin, then instantly brightened up after hearing Samus’ offer. “……alright I understand”. She immediately rushed to Samus’ side, marveling a bit the blonde’s beauty as she took of her helmet. “……w-wow…you’re very pretty Samus-san..”. Rena can’t help but muse.
Rena shook her head at Samus, clutching her school bag to her chest as she took out her signature cleaver from it’s compartment inside. “……don’t worry Samus-san. I may not look like much, but I am able to protect myself when the need arises. I won’t be a burden to you, I promise!”. The club games that Mion made the others play had contributed a lot to Rena’s athletic growth, and due to experiences involving Rena having to defend herself from people about to harass her….it had made her quite stronger even.
“Original selves?” Samus gave her a weird look as she said this, not understanding what the girl was hinting at. “Yes. Different. Sounds logical. Explains why we’re here.” But doesn’t explain any other motives. Samus sighed, feeling rather vulnerable that she didn’t know what to expect or prepare for. The streets looked… normal enough. Even though in her era such streets no longer existed, being replaced by high skyscrapers and flying cars.
She raised an eyebrow at Rena’s compliment, not sure what to think of it. Nonetheless, her cheeks flushed red embarrassingly as she awkwardly coughed, then looked away. “… Thank you.” How did she repay compliments again? With compliments of her own? “Hair. Outfit. Looks… cute.” That sounded rather awkward coming from her lips, but Samus cared little as she continued staring at the young girl, noticing she was pulling something out from her… was that a school bag?
It explained the girls outfit, at any case. School… clothing she assumed, paired with a school bag. This young girl must still be doing her education. A part of Samus suddenly felt rather old, as it has been years since she’s been in the Galactic Federation Academy. She quickly brushed this thought aside.
Her eyes widened with slight surprise to see her own a… what was that weapon called?… cleaver. Cleavers no longer existed where Samus came from, due to more advanced and powerful weapons available. However, she figured the young girl knew how to use it by how confident she sounded. She nodded with slight approval. “Know combat. Good.” That cleaver wouldn’t stand a chance against the monsters Samus has become accustomed to fighting, but by how everything around here was a blast from the past she assumed any enemies would be as well.
She took one last look around, then grumbled to herself. Where to go? She decided to pick the building closest to the two of them. Looked like some sort of general store. “… In there. Find food.”
